Alma Cider fest 3rd to 6th May

Popular Cider Festival in North London returns to provide over 20 premium varieties of cider and perry with DJs and live music during May bank holiday weekend.

Cider has a strong tradition in this country. English apples have been ground and pressed for the purpose of producing refreshing alcoholic beverages for centuries. The Alma, a gastro pub in North London, has started it's own tradition – a festival to celebrate our fascination with this popular drink.

For four years now, the 19th century public house in Newington Green has held Spring and Autumn Cider Festivals which provide premium selections from across England. This Spring, “bags in the box” filled with varieties from Somerset and Dorset will line the iconic front windows of The Alma from Friday May 3rd until Monday May 6th.

Culinary offerings to compliment your choice of beverage, live music from soul ensemble The Fae Simon Trio and DJ sets from Brighton reggae/dub producer Richie Phoe & New Zealand selector Pauly Who will create a true festival atmosphere for the long weekend.
